Computer Technician I (Part Time)

Computer Technician I provides technology support and instruction to library staff and patrons in the use of computer systems, information services, and electronic resources. Monitors, maintains and issues electronic helpdesk tickets to solve computer issues for staff. Provides computer support for public access terminals, word processing, library catalog, internet and electronic reference. Installs cables, network cards and other computer peripheral devices. Implements technology projects. 

High school diploma or GED required. Experience with PC-compatible computers required. Preference given to candidates with library experience. Some formal training in computer repair, programming and systems preferred.
