LIBRARIES ROCK!!!! Join us for an hour of this fun and interactive drumming show with Dr. Arvin Scott.  Dr. Scott is a professor of percussion at the University of Georgia and Grammy award winning artist.  Children should prepare themselves for some amazing music and have the chance to make music themselves!

 This is an after hours show.  The library will close at 6PM.  The meeting room and Summer Reading Prize table will be open before, during and after the show. 

Summer Shows are best for ages rising K-5th, but all ages are welcome as space allows.  This program is free and open to the public.  Groups of ten of more are welcome for free, but must call the youth services department for a reservation at 770-532-3311 ext. 129


Summer Show Guidelines:

-please arrive 15 minutes early so we are able to start on time

-no cell phone conversations or texting during this performance.  Parents, we want you to enjoy the show and have fun with your kids.

-Have your cell phone/camera ready! Many children participate in your show and you want to get a picture of your child on stage. 


-Children sitting by themselves must be able to sit and follow directions of the performer and staff members. 

-Parents, please sit towards the back.  Children cannot see over you. 

-Please do not cross our stage lines for the safety of you, your child and the performer. 

-Tell your friends about our wonderul and free shows!
