Children's programs are for babies (birth to 18 months) through Elementary. All programs will include specific age range requirements.
Programs marked with * are repeating events.

Come out to the Gainesville Library on the Square for a weekly program designed for our smallest patrons and their caregivers.
Babies ages 0-18 months and their grownups will learn songs, rhymes, and movement activities, as well as read age appropriate board books while developing important language and early literacy skills.

Early or reluctant readers can drop in from 4:00-5:30 for a 10 minute reading session with a certified therapy dog from Mission Syrah Paws, Inc.
Reading with a therapy dog provides children with a non-judgmental, fun environment to practice their reading, while building confidence in their reading ability.
For kindergartners and up, no registration required.

Spout Springs Youth Area
Preschool and elementary-aged children, bring your stuffed animals to the library so that they can have a super fun sleepover! While they're gone, they'll get to explore the library after hours and take a bunch of pictures to show you when you pick them up!
Drop off is all day Friday, October 20th. Pick up is all day on Monday, October 23rd.
