Junior Tome and Tome Society Meeting

Gainesville Library

Homeschoolers, need a book club that will really get your pages turning?

Want a group of friends to discuss new, clean, encouraging, and engaging books?

Would you enjoy an opportunity to enter literary based competitions and participate in service projects that will help promote literacy in your local community?

Then join the Hall County Library Tome Society!

Each month we'll discuss a book off the TOME It List while giving you a chance to meet new people and socialize with your peers.

Junior Tome is for students in 6th-8th grade (ages 11-13).

Tome Society is for students in 9th-12th grade (ages 14-17).

If you're interested in Club Tome for students in 4th & 5th grade (ages 9-10), please see our meetings at the Murrayville and Spout Springs Libraries!

Tome Society provides a diverse menu of digital student competitions; an annual book award list of new, clean, fun-to-read children's and young adult literature titles; student book club activities; and the TomeCon annual conference. All activities promote self-esteem, leadership skills, character ethics, and nurture critical thinking, creativity, and imagination in the digital age.
