Passport Appointments at Blackshear Place Branch
Mon. & Thurs. 12 - 7, Tues. & Wed. 10 - 5, Sat. 10 - 3 (closed Fri.)
- Visit travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html for information on obtaining a passport including fees and required documents. Please read the Department of State statement on delays in passport processing on the link above. There are significant delays in processing all but emergency passport applications.
- To make an appointment, call 770-532-3311 x151 or email bpl@hallcountylibrary.org Please confirm the number of individuals completing an application at this time.
- When you arrive for your appointment: call the number on the curbside sign and tell the staff member your name and that you have a passport appointment.
- If you do not have a cell phone to call from the parking lot, please call us before you leave for your appointment to let us know you are on your way.
- A staff member will meet you at the front door to let you in the library and let you out after your appointment is complete.
- It is strongly recommended that patrons wear masks but not required. Staff will be wearing protective equipment for your safety as well as their own.
- No cash is currently accepted for any payment

No appointment is necessary. Applications are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please be aware: we are a walk-in service. We frequently have a large number of applicants, and it is sometimes necessary to close the waiting line before the passport office closes.
