Selling, soliciting, surveying, or polling patrons or library staff is prohibited on library premises by for-profit or not-for-profit groups or individuals.

Reporters or those wishing to contact staff or patrons to photograph, question, or interview shall first seek permission from the administrative staff. This activity may not interfere with library operation or patron use. Patrons are often involved in personal reading or study pursuits and their privacy should be respected Out of courtesy, patrons will be asked first by library staff for consent to be approached by non-library persons.

A designated area on library property will be established for political campaigning and functions.
